You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.
Where are you located? We’re at 528 Laguna Street on the corner of Linden Alley, right off Hayes Street in the heart of San Francisco’s Hayes Valley.
Can I make a reservation? We reserve most of the dining room for walk-ins, but do currently accept a limited number of reservations through OpenTable.
Can you accommodate large groups? Yes! We take reservations for parties of up to 12 guests through OpenTable or by phone. For parties of this size, we offer a set menu of all of our most popular dishes and a selection of Champagnes by the bottle. (We’re firm believers that bigger is better, and we’re more than happy to recommend magnums to keep the party going.)
Can I book a private event in the space? Yes, absolutely. Contact us here to let us know what you’re looking for.
Did I see people drinking Champagne out of a… bong? Ha, yes. We offer Chambongs for those in the mood… they’re essentially beer bongs for Champagne. We hope this doesn’t offend you. We’re just trying to have a little fun over here. Buyer beware: we have a strict 2-bong maximum. Watch it all here.
What’s the deal with your glassware? Why don’t you use flutes? You’ve asked about a topic we’re very passionate about! We prefer drinking our sparkling wines like any wine -- out of a wine glass, so we can swirl them, get a sense of the aromatics, and really explore the complexities of the wine. Of course, if you prefer flutes, just ask your server. We also have delicate Zalto Burgundy stems and elegant hand-cut Belarusian crystal coupes.
I heard you’ve got a killer investor list of 33 women. Can I get involved? Wow. Cool. Thanks for your interest. Drop us a line here, and we’ll keep you in mind for future locations.
Who is that stunning woman in the black and white photo on the wall? That’s the inimitable Jacqueline Bisset as “Miss Goodthighs” in the 1967 James Bond spoof, Casino Royale, alongside Peter Sellers, Woody Allen, Orson Welles, and Deborah Kerr. That (hilarious) scene is right here. She's our muse when building out The Riddler, and we sourced the image from original signed print from this gallery in London.
Who gold-leafed your ceilings? The wonderful Caroline Lizarraga. She’s done work at a lot of our friends’s restaurants, including the rose-gold dripped walls at the Hayes Valley omakase spot, Robin, and the bathrooms at Kim Alter’s Nightbird.
Where did you get all of those vintage Champagne buckets? We’ve been collecting them for years, picking up our favorite finds at the Alameda Flea Market, vintage shops, and EBTH online.
How do you make a tater tot waffle? Read the recipe at Food & Wine.
